Hey hey, welcome to my little webspace. I’m steph, my preferred pronouns are they/them or none.

I’m a theologian and chaplain by profession - and have been for twenty years. After twelve years in parish ministry, I switched to chaplaincy work eight years ago, where I work in an exciting international and multicultural environment.

I’m currently on a six-month study leave, which allows me to dive deeply into the subject of queer theology. The focus of my research in this area lies on binary and non-binary trans identities. Besides reading literature on the topic, I listen to podcasts, take part in seminars and discuss ideas and insights with other people from the trans spectrum or those who are simply interested in the subject.

This little blog is the place where I try to translate my thoughts on queerness, theology, faith and church into words. I’m writing from my very personal perspective as a non-binary trans person.

So far I post mainly in German, as I live and work in Switzerland. But I might add some English content somewhen in the future.
